| Start by creating a star shape using custom shape tool. |

| Press Ctrl+T. Right click the layer and select warp. Adjust nodes to get the shape as shown. |

| Press Alt key and keep hitting the left arrow key to create 3d extrusion. |

| Select and merge all the duplicate layers. Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply layer style with the settings shown. |

| Apply the same layer style to the original star layer. |

| Select and merge both the star layers. Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply layer style with the settings shown. |

| Duplicate the layer several times and play around with color modes. |

| Select and merge all the layers. Duplicate the layer. From filter menu select sketch>>photocopy. Apply settings as shown. |

| Change the layer mode to color burn. |

| Duplicate the layer and change the layer mode to overlay. |

| Merge all the layers. Duplicate the layer and change the layer mode to linear dodge. |

| From layer menu select new adjustment layer>>hue/saturation. Apply settings as shown. |

A little simple, try adding Twirl effects or Gradiants or Wave instead of the same picture. =)
